These are statements created and sent to customers. The following are the steps on how to create statement in QuickBooks
1) Click ‘Customers’ from the menu bar and select ‘Create Statements’ from the drop down list  




Or click ‘Statements’ at the home page 






2) The ‘Create Statements’ window below appears  




3) To create a statement for a particular customer, follow the steps below 





A: Set the date or leave default 
B: Select from the two options how you want the statement to be created by clicking on the button. Here, ‘Statement Period From’ is selected. 
C: Choose from the options the total number of customers you want to create statements for by clicking the button. 
D: ‘One Customer’ is selected here because the statement to be created is for a particular customer.  To choose the customer, click the drop down arrow in order to choose the customer from the drop down list. Here, ‘Benson Paul (a customer) is selected.  




 
E: Click ‘View Selected Customers’ in order to get an overview of the customers the statement will be created for. 
F: Set additional options on how you want the statement to be created. 

4) After setting how you want the statement to be created, follow the steps below in order complete the statement. 





A: Click ‘Preview’ in order to view the statement how is going to be. 
B: Click ‘Print’ if you want to print out the statement or to have hard copy of the statement. 
C: Click ‘E-mail’ if you want the statement created to be sent to the customer through e-mail. 
D: Click ‘Close’ after creating the statement.
