How to Restore a Company File that was made before upgrading to a New Version of QuickBooks

QuickBooks creates an avenue where you can restore a backup company file from a previous version of QuickBooks to a New Version. The QuickBooks Utility restores a company file that was made in a previous version of QuickBooks to a new version of QuickBooks.

1) Click ‘File’ at the menu bar, select Utilities, Restore backup For Earlier Version 

2) The ‘Restore Your Company File’ window below appears 

          A: Click the box to select the company file you want to restore 

          Click ‘Open’ to continue
          
          B: Click the box to choose where the file will be saved in your computer.
       
          C: Click ‘OK’ after entering the necessary information.
