You can enter the Leads manually or paste Leads from an Excel spreadsheet.

1) Open the ‘Lead Centre’ window and at the top of the window, click ‘Import Multiple Leads’.

Enter leads manually
       a) On the first row, click the Lead Name field and enter the lead's name.
       b) Click any of the fields on the same row and enter the information. 

       c) Click Continue. QuickBooks tells you how many leads are ready to be added and gives you the                    opportunity to fix any errors. 

       d) Click Continue.
       e) Click OK in the confirmation window. 



Paste leads from an Excel spreadsheet
          Although you can paste a whole spreadsheet at once, you can minimize errors by pasting one column             at a time.
a.       Open the Excel spreadsheet containing the information you want to add.
b.      Select the column on the spreadsheet that you want to copy.
c.       Press Ctrl+C to copy the column.
d.      In the Import Leads window in QuickBooks, click the first field in the column where you want to paste the information.
e.       Press Ctrl+V to paste the column.
f.       Repeat steps b to e for the remaining columns.
g.      Click Continue. QuickBooks tells you how many leads are ready to be added and gives you the opportunity to fix any errors.
h.      Click Continue.
i.        Click OK in the confirmation window.
